I just wanted to say again thank you so much for all your help in getting us here. There were many times before I was under your care that I never believed we would have 2 lovely girls at home. It was so great to finally be under the care of someone who I could trust and I knew would guide me and help me get pregnant.

Mr Downes is not only a leading specialist in his field of practice, he is an amazing person. My husband and I owe our chance at parenthood to his kind and gentle care and expertise.

He will always go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable with any courses of action he’s proposed and he’s always keep our best interest at the heart of all his interactions.

He is an all-round stellar man and we are lucky to have found him.

We came to Ellis once we found out we were pregnant again after losing our first baby. Ellis gave us strength and hope and made our pregnancy enjoyable.

We have never met anyone so professional and genuinely caring. He was always there to answer my questions any time of the day or night.

I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for us and are looking forward to seeing him in the future.

Professional and kind

I went to see Mr Downes for a second opinion as I had been told I needed a hysterectomy. Mr Downes was extremely reassuring, explained the different options clearly… I cannot stress enough how professional and kind both Mr Downes and all his staff have been.

No pain or discomfort

I can 100% sat that I have been astounded by the operation as I have had no pain or discomfort at all…. it was so much easier than I had thought and am very glad I went ahead.
